Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Paper Compute website at papercompute.com (the "Site") and the paper console hosted product (together with the Site, the "Services"), provided by Paper Compute Company ("Paper Compute", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by ourData Use Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. Your continued use of the Services constitutes ongoing acceptance of the most current version of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of legal majority where you live), you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 13 to use them. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. The Services
The Site provides marketing, documentation, and informational content. Thepaper console is our hosted product that captures traces from your agents and displays them in a console for inspection, debugging, and analysis. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Some features may be offered under separate plans or order forms, which may include additional terms; where those terms conflict with these Terms, the order form controls for that feature.
4. Accounts
To use paper console you may need to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Services or our systems without authorization;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach security or authentication measures;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including via denial-of-service attacks;
- use the Services to build a competing product by copying features or content;
- upload or transmit malware, or use the Services to store or transmit infringing, defamatory, or unlawful material;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm others.
6. Your content and ownership
You retain all rights to the content, code, configurations, prompts, agent traces, and other materials you submit to or generate through the Services ("Your Content"). You grant Paper Compute a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content as necessary to operate and provide the Services to you. We claim no ownership over Your Content.
For enterprise customers, we do not train models on, and do not access, your customer data, except as required to provide the contracted Services or as directed by you. For paper console users on non-enterprise plans, you additionally grant us a license to use Your Content — including the agent traces, code, configurations, and outputs captured by the Services — together with telemetry and usage data, to operate, secure, develop, train, and improve our products and models.We do not train our models on the actual prompt text or on sensitive data (such as credentials, secrets, or personal information) contained in Your Content. To opt out of the use of your data for product development and model training, use an enterprise plan. How we handle data is described in ourData Use Policy.
7. Our intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, text, graphics, and the Paper Compute name and logos, are owned by Paper Compute or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in the Services.
8. Fees
Certain features of paper console are paid. Pricing, billing terms, and plan details are described at papercompute.com/pricing or in an applicable order form. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in your plan.
9. Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paper Compute and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paper Compute and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and the governing law and dispute terms below.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
